This listing does not include a Bitaxe miner; it’s the node-only package.

Once your node is up and running, you can install Public Pool and start solo mining to your own Bitcoin node from a Bitaxe or any other compatible miner.

Requirements

To complete setup you will need:

• Monitor or screen (VGA or Mini DisplayPort – only required for initial setup)
• USB keyboard and mouse (only required for initial setup)
• 4 GB (or larger) USB stick for flashing Umbrel or Start9
• Ethernet cable
• Stable, unmetered internet connection (the Bitcoin blockchain exceeds 550 GB and is growing)

Quick start

Plug in your node. Flash Umbrel or Start9 using the official guides. (note, I do 80% of the work for you for Umbrel :). Install Bitcoin Core. Install Public Pool. Point your chosen miner at your new node (any of the units we sell can be pointed at a Rebel Bitcoin Node) and start solo mining immediately.
