The NerdQAxe++ Rev 6.1.2PM Bitcoin Miner is a compact, high-performance, multi-chip home ASIC designed for miners who want real hashrate without industrial noise, ugly hardware, or a datacentre in the spare room.
This is the updated Rev 6.1.2PM hardware revision by Power Mining, built around four BM1370 ASIC chips from the Antminer S21 series and tuned to deliver approximately 6.1 TH/s at around 100 W.
It keeps the open-source, desk-friendly NerdQAxe spirit, but uses the revised hardware platform designed to address the weak points and early-life gremlins seen on earlier versions.
This version is then upgraded by us, The Solo Mining Co, with our own custom metal stand, the signature I Am GPIO Halo board, remote control LED functionality, rear fan control, and rear power entry for a cleaner, more premium finished unit.
It is a serious little Bitcoin miner with proper desk presence.
Earlier NerdQAxe++ revisions proved the concept: a compact, multi-chip, open-source Bitcoin miner with genuine home-friendly performance. The NerdQAxe++ Black Edition Rev 6.1.2PM is the refined version, with critical updates designed to engineer out the V-Reg issues seen previously.
Power Mining has revised the hardware, including updates to the BM1370 footprint, solder paste stencil, power-stage layout details, fuse holder, snubber values and supporting components.
In plain English: this is the cleaned-up, improved version designed to run better, last longer, and remove the little gremlins that affected earlier boards.
This listing is for the Rev 6.1.2PM Power Mining revision, not the earlier Rev 6.1.
This is not just a bare NerdQAxe++ board dropped on a basic stand. This is the NerdQAxe++ Black Edition.
Our upgraded edition includes:
The result is a much more finished product: cleaner cabling, better presence, better usability, and a more deliberate home-mining feel.
The NerdQAxe++ Rev 6.1.2PM uses four BM1370 chips from the Antminer S21 family, some of the most efficient Bitcoin mining chips currently used in open-source home mining hardware.
At this power level, it gives you meaningful hashrate while still being practical to run in a home, office, workshop, studio or test bench environment.
The built-in LILYGO T-Display S3 turns the NerdQAxe++ into a live mining dashboard.
At a glance, you can monitor:
The two physical buttons can be used to cycle display views or support custom functions depending on firmware configuration.
The NerdQAxe++ Rev 6.1.2PM runs AxeOS, the open-source firmware used across the Bitaxe and NerdQAxe ecosystem.
Setup is handled through a simple web interface. Connect the miner to your Wi-Fi, open its IP address in a browser, and you can configure pools, monitor performance, adjust settings and manage the device from your phone, tablet or computer.
AxeOS also supports viewing multiple compatible devices as a swarm, making it ideal if you already run Bitaxe-style miners or plan to build a small home mining fleet.
Cooling is handled by a Thermalright AXP90 X36 low-profile cooler, using standard computer-style mounting patterns. This makes the NerdQAxe++ far more familiar and mod-friendly than a sealed black-box miner.
This upgraded Solo Mining Co version also includes rear fan control, helping support stable cooling while keeping the unit suitable for a desk, shelf or home-office environment.
It is not silent, but it is a world away from traditional industrial ASIC miners.
One of the practical upgrades on the NerdQAxe++ Black Edition is the rear power entry, giving the miner a cleaner and more natural layout when placed on a shelf, desk or display stand.
Instead of cables fighting the look of the product, the power entry is moved to where it makes sense: out the back, neat and tidy.
This is especially useful for display setups, office shelves, YouTube backdrops, workshops, desks and premium home-mining spaces.
The NerdQAxe++ does not run from USB power.
USB-C is for optional data access and debugging only. The miner requires a suitable 12 V / 12.4 V XT30 power supply, which is included.
