The Avalon Nano 3s Bitcoin heater is Canaan’s compact home Bitcoin miner that doubles as a quiet space heater. Designed for desks, bedrooms and offices, it brings up to 6 TH/s of SHA-256 hashrate at around 140 W in Turbo mode, with lower-power profiles available when you just want a gentle trickle of sats and warmth.

With whisper-quiet operation in low mode, built-in Wi-Fi, a simple web UI and RGB lighting, the Avalon Nano 3s is one of the easiest ways to start mining Bitcoin at home without turning your living room into a server hall.

Warm, quiet and actually livable

The Avalon Nano 3s is designed for real homes, not racks. In its quieter modes it runs at roughly the level of a quiet room, making it suitable for bedrooms, studies and living spaces. Meanwhile, the exhaust temperature in the 40–60 °C range gives you that “little Bitcoin radiator” feel – especially under a desk or next to your feet in winter.

Setup is straightforward, even if you’re new to mining:

1. Plug in the included USB-C power supply.
2. Connect the Avalon Nano 3s to your Wi-Fi network.
3. Open its configuration page in your web browser.
4. Enter your pool details and Bitcoin address, then pick your performance mode.

No separate app is required – everything is handled via a simple, built-in web interface. Advanced miners can still tweak pools and profiles, but beginners will be comfortable within minutes.

The Avalon Nano 3s works happily with popular mining pools and solo-friendly options such as Public Pool andCKPool, so you can choose between regular pooled payouts or long-shot solo blocks.
